Treasures of MAD Trips Long Past

Today kiddies, I bring you treats from "the Usual Gang of Idiots". About a year ago, I picked up the biography of William M. Gaines, the publisher of MAD Magazine. Inside were 16 color illustrations, inspired by the famous trips Bill Gaines would take his employees on. I'm showing you the first 8. The rest will come later.

Have fun.

Until Next Time
Happy Trails

These drawings are entertaining, I've completely overlooked on MAD - even though I've never seen the comic before in Britain, seriously.

I've never seen these before, but now I'm hoping that you post the other color illustrations really soon. I could stare at these all day at how wonderfully well drawn and funny they are, especially Don Martin's work.

Steven - Try looking on Amazon. You can find a lot of MAD books there. Always good for a laugh.

Roberto - I feel the same way about Jack Davis' work. His use of color and his mastery of cartooning just astounds me.
